My name is Jabulile Amanda Mbonambi.

Welcome to my online portfolio. Here you’ll find samples of my own independent projects, freelance work, and professional work as a videographer.

I have a bachelor's degree in Television and Film production with majors in  Writer, Director, and Editor. In my 5 year career, I have acquired experience in independent film-making and acting in a variety of roles from Writer, Director, Co-Director, Assistant Director, Offline Editor, Assistant Editor, Editor, Photographer, and Camera Operator.  As a videographer, I have worked on projects ranging from promotional material for artists with music videos, and short-form documentaries and films. I dedicated 3years to becoming a seasoned one-man band in videography and photography, learning to do all the roles in production and delivering a professional final product, be it video(s) or image gallery.

My passion is for my work to outlive me and to work with organizations with an impactful mission that is aimed at developing the continent. 

As a pan-African storyteller, I am driven by an interest in music, art, spirituality, education, entrepreneurship, healthcare and rehabilitation, technology, and history. 

I am attentive to detail, a team player, and flexible and I love new challenges.
